Wi-Fi is disconnecting after Amber + GDR2 Updates in L620

After the upgrading the Amber + GDR2 updates to my L620, i am finding that Wi Fi connectivity will be lost and will not work once the screen turns off due to inactivity even though in Settings -Wi-Fi - -Advanced - "Keep Wi-Fi on when the screen times out" is checked or ticked.

During that time wi fi logo will still shows connected on the top of the screen and also in the wi fi setting menu.

It will only work again if you disconnect the Wi Fi connection and reconnect again.

Is any body facing similar problem??

I was having an issue similar in which WiFi would not reconnect on my home network. I power cycled the router and haven't had any issues since doing so.

I am also facing same issue that why i started this thread. Looking like it is bug in WP8. Refer the below link for the discussion on the same issue . The suggestion provided in this discussion may help to solve the problem in your case but it didn't worked for me.

the problem is it always forget my wifi password and i have to enter it again

and i did my update with NSU and i found that amber was installed without OTA
anything wrong here ?
