Wi-fi Not working after GDR Update

A few days ago I noticed my wi-Fi was not on. So I tried to turn it on and I got the message below.

I've tried everything short of a hard reset. Not quite sure I'm ready to do that tho. If anyone knows of a way to fix it please let me know.

I guess you've done a vol down + power = soft reset? If that's not cleared this up, it probably is a bad firmware update. You may need a hard reset. There are no wide spread reports of GDR breaking WiFi so it isn't linked to update but only can be a bad flash.

What does soft reset mean??? I know what hard reset is, bit what does soft reset do??
