Wi-Fi now staying connected when phone is locked?

An update was just pushed to my phone and if I'm not mistaken, it appears my Wi-Fi signal is no longer being disconnected when I lock the screen.

Anyone else notice this?

Nope didn't get any update.

To confirm it, I also hit the check update in settings...

This update showed up in the WP Store.

I may be wrong, but I think WiFi remains active when the phone is plugged in (at least that's how it is on my WP 7.5 device). Since your screenshot shows your phone is plugged in, try unplugging and checking if WiFi remains connected after a period of inactivity.

I may be wrong, but I think WiFi remains active when the phone is plugged in (at least that's how it is on my WP 7.5 device). Since your screenshot shows your phone is plugged in, try unplugging and checking if WiFi remains connected after a period of inactivity.

EDIT: Yep, you're right. False alarm people.
