Wifi and WiFi-Calling Timeout?

When the screen is locked/times out does Wifi disconnect or go into a low power mode? What I have noticed is that when I unlocked my phone from a bit of idle the Wifi-Calling is not present. Then Wifi-Calling reconnects. Anyone else notice this?

Depends on the app you are using. Some apps just doesn't run with phone locked or on background.

Are you using a third party app?
Is Power Save Mode activated?
