Wifi reception extremely weak

Ven07, I'm confused. The link you have liked basically suggests that your phone COULDN'T have had a signal bar for WiFi that was anything other than full or nothing, as the functionality was not programmed into the OS - are you now saying you were mistaken?
Apart from that, the 8.1 icon is clearly bugged. Often mine says not connected, but pulling down the notification centre indicates it is, as does the WiFi settings screen.

I liked the post with the link just because of the first part of that post not because I was agreeing with the link And no.. THis phone is my primary phone and as such I always checked the wifi strength when connecting to a new network by just tapping the top of my screen and it would always tell me when the signal was weak

Yes it is so hard to believe, because it simply was not possible. The link below (an MS link) shows, proves, that functionality was NOT part of windows phone 8. It clearly demonstrates the cellular icon shows strength, but the WiFi doesn't. It is ok to admit you were mistaken, instead of getting stroppy!

Yes. It is the same as you saying your 8.0 action center wasn't working. That is to say, impossible

Hopefully a fix for next update will be implemented for wifi issues.

I am not experiencing this issue, my Wifi signal actually got better.

Lol I'm not wrong I know what I saw on MY phone If you think you're right then so be it I really don't care And nope i'm far from being mad or pissed I'm just saying I said I experienced it that way so if you did not that's fine You already told me so there is no need for this to continue :/

The fact is, you couldn't have seen that on your phone because it doesn't frigging exist on WP8. What part of that do you not understand? Admit you're wrong, or post a screenshot and prove us and Microsoft who made the damn phone, wrong.

Lol it would be obvious that i have 8.1 now the icon was not static it was animated lol

The icon was only animated when it was connecting or disconnecting

I've also been having this issue. We have a dual band router, Charter internet and my signal is weak and often will say no connection or connection lost. The local Verizon store said take it out of the case. I don't think so. My Icon is in mint condition and I'm not ruining it by removing the case,. The sales people were rude and said some nasty things about the Windows phones. I said some nasty stuff right back. Excuse my english, but why do they have to be asshats? it's my phone and I love it. Sorry I digress, other than the weak wifi signal I love my Icon.
