Wifi standby

Hello guys. I have a question. With windows phone 8, the wifi connection was disconnected within 2 minutes if you locked your phone. But after the windows phone 8.1 update the wifi stays connected under lock screen.
Does anyone knows if there's a setting for the wifi under lock screen?

And another little thing, I like the toggles, but actually the wifi isn't a toggle but just a shortcut, the other setting like location and flight stand are real toggles. Anybody knows the reason or an explanation why only the wifi a shortcut is?

But I think the wp8,1 update is a big step forward!

I haven't found a toggle yet. Asked the same question and it seems that no one else recognized it - except of us.

I agree with your statement about wifi cutting off in Wp8 and staying on in 8.1 but i cant find any settings like that and yes the wifi toggle in the action center is a toggle but it only turns it on, after that when you go to shut it off it goes to the actual setting.

It looks like the Wi-Fi shortcut acts sometimes like a shortcut and sometimes like a toggle. When Wi-Fi turned off it is a toggle. When Wi-Fi turned on it seems to be a shortcut. At least for me.

Same here on my Lumia 1020. That feels litte annoying. Also I'm wondering why they didn't put data toggle in action center? It's like

I'm wondering if anyone knows how to change the setting from wifi stays connected under lockscreen to wifi disconnected under lock screen, in my opinion it was a nice feature that the wifi goes standby while the phone was locked.

And I didn't notice that wifi on is a toggle and wifi of a shortcut, I think its strange because a full real toggle is much better.
Does anyone knows what the reason is for half a toggle half a shortcut?

And yeah a data toggle would be nice, hopefully they put that toggle in a future update.

For the rest the update seems like to be ok. It's definitely a great change, but its annoying that at some points things are just not that perfect, like the data toggle and little things like that.
