Will 8x screen protectors fit on an 8S?

Does anyone know if you can use screen protectors and gel cases made for 8X phones on an 8S?

The 8X's screen is larger than the 8S's so I doubt a screen protector made for the 8X will fit the 8S.

If its bigger it will fit if you cut it to size. Why not just buy some for the 8s.
