Will a white user interface drain battery on the Lenovo Thinkpad 10 (2nd gen)?

Hi all

I'm a user interface designer currently working on a project for a hybrid app to be used solely on the Thinkpad 10 (2nd gen). I remember how an amoled screen would drain battery when rendering a light interface and I wondered if the same applied to the screen used on the Thinkpad.

Thinkpad 10 screen spec: 10.1" WUXGA (1920x1200)

White will use no more power than black or any other color on the 10's IPS LCD screen.

OLED panels are still rare in laptops and desktops.
