Will an AT&T Lumia 635 purchased from the Microsoft Store work on T-Mobile?

Not unless you unlock it. Also, even if you do unlock it, you will not get wifi calling on T-Mobile. Only T-Mobile branded phones have the wifi calling feature.

Technologically, yes.
BUT as it is, ABSOLUTELY NOT.

The phone is locked to the ATT network, and will only function with ATT and MVNOs using the ATT network.
It will have to be unlocked to run on T-Mobile. Even then, it wont work as well as a T-Mobile 635.

Return that 635, get a T-Mobile one, it'll save money, hassle, and the likelihood of it never being unlocked.

Hey, I got an unlocked 635 and am using Simple Mobile SIM.
Will a T-mobile 635 one work better with this? In what sense? Will it also have "WiFi Calling"?

I think I can still return this one.
