will my phone still be unlocked when i reset?

I want to reset my unlocked Nokia Lumia 800 WP7.8. I would like to know if resetting it will remove the unlock. I am currently using it in a different country and I really need it to be unlocked. Please, I need guidance whether I should reset or not.
