All WP8 devices will get WP 8.1. Am still looking forward for a 1GB variant of the Lumia 720. Doesn't matter if it'll be a Dual SIM phone. Rest assured whichever phone you get it Dec will get the WP 8.1 Upgrade.

It really doesn't make much difference to me if a phone supports dual sim. My only complain against the 720 is the 512 MB RAM. I'm not able to play some really cool games

We all heard the rumors that there's a dual SIM variant of Lumia 720 is in the works. Since Lumia 525 is now out there with 1 GB of RAM, I seriously doubt that Nokia will release the dual SIM varant with 512 MB of RAM. Also during testing, Nokia did put 1 GB of RAM in Lumia 720. So its highly unlikely the variant will ship with 512 MB of RAM, if it still does that'd be very stupid of Nokia.

PS: By the way, limited 8 GB of internal memory bugs me more than 512 MB of RAM. I hope we get the option to install apps on MMC in Windows Phone 8.1 update.

I don't think they will allow installing apps on mmc cards. This is for security. IMO they should ship devices with 16 GB of internal memory. Some apps like Asphalt, Halo: Spartan Assault can take up upto 2.5 GB in space while installing. Causes massive headaches for me

Hii Gaurav ... please explain the security part yaar ...... I have been waiting since feb so that nokia lumia 720 comes under 15k.. off late i was thinking that nokia will release the 725 early next year but no concrete news has come regarding it .. seems like will have to buy 720 in december

Allowing apps to install on MMC can lead to piracy very easily and thus this method could also be used to deploy malwares.

That's the same reason why Apple doesn't support memory cards in the first place. WP8 and iOS are very secure environments and hence we don't see too many anti-virus apps apps available for both.
