A lot people here complaining about slow updates from some operators. I'm just wondering can you get faster updates after unlocking your device?

I am not sure but I think even if you unlock it, that device is still tied to the carrier you got it from and still depends on the approval for the updates. It just means that you are unlocking it so the phone can be used.

I could be wrong and if I am, my apologies but I did read that somewhere before. Its still a T-Mobile 925 just unlocked.
