Win 10 on Surface 3, will it ever be good?

The app reviews seem to indicate many people are experiencing the problem with the pen error.

But I'm not too happy they took away the ability to open the desktop OneNote. It's like they downgraded OneNote then force it over the desktop version.

Yesterday my touch screen was failing to register presses. The visual would be there but no response unless I held it longer, at which point it risked turning into a right click. I switched over to the track pad and it was fine.

Today is seems to be running good on the newest insider's build from yesterday.

I uninstalled all the pen drivers and rebooted. They all seemed to reinstall but the Surface app still doesn't work.

Might be pointless anyway as the option to set the OneNote app was removed anyway. Which seriously makes no sense. Why bother to put all this tech in the pen and then halfass it on the software side?
