Win Phone Question - Xbox Gaming

Hi All.
I just bought a Lumia 1520 primarily for gaming and the camera.

I have 2 Xbox accounts and it seems that I need to reset the phone to switch profiles. This is a problem and I am wondering if there is a workaround?

Also is this situation the same on 8.1
