Win10 Preview for Phone for Lumia 830 UK

I'm a little confused by this staggered release of Windows 10 for Phone Preview. Has anyone in the UK been able to download it for their Lumia 830? Mine is an unlocked Country Variant...and no sign of the Preview.

Silly question, but have to ask. Have you signed up to the preview program?
Just asking, as you stated about having a CV unlocked device and this detail makes no difference.

Im the same unlocked CV Lumia 830 registered with Insider Programme and not accepting it when try to update. Even changed region to USA and not help.

Some carriers may not be supported Microsoft says in the website.

Its an issue with the Latest update of Denim, My 830 would not allow me to install 10, i had to follow what I've written here to make it work.


What you need to do is restore to the earliest version of Denim via the recovery tool.

power the phone up, ignore all the setup process and firstly go into updates and untick the auto update box.

Then connect via wifi and install the insider app, check for updates and it will allow you to chose fast or slow.

it took me about an hour in total, as it downloads 8.1 update 1 then you need to check for updates again to get 10, but for some reason the version of denim we got updated to is not compatible.

No problem, Any chance you could connect your phone to the recovery app and tell me what version of WP8.1 it offers ? I've been trying to re do mine after rolling back but with no success this time around.
