I'm not leaving Windows Phone, regardless of what happens, but I think that Android apps on Windows 10 is a recipe for disaster. There are too many problems with Android, many of which continue to be developed around instead of directly addressed, from one version to the next, to consider allowing Android apps of any version to run on Windows Phone. Doing so would only add to the overhead of Windows Phone, unless it is relegated to a sandbox within an app; Windows is already a few GB out of the gate as it is.

This doesn't accomplish anything whatsoever. I'm all for this as an option on the side for those geeks that want to experiment with Android on different hardware, but I think that true integration is a step backwards. What you gain in functionality, you could lose in all of the _ of Android.

This has been discussed to Mars and back - and probably best put in the existing threads, instead of giving it its own thread, but eh.

Personally, I'd say no, since the design of both OSes is going to wreck cohesiveness.
But, at the most, if the Android thing was locked down and given to apps who don't follow OS design, like games, maaaybe.
