Anyone already tried the new redstone update that just came out? I'm really tempted to upgrade from my current 164 with all the new features. But since my trusty ATIV S is currently my main phone, upgrading to the normal WM10 branch already took much consideration before I pulled the trigger but it was worth it.

Here are all the bugs I encountered in the past 2 weeks using 122 and 164:

- Apps like Store and Groove crashing often
- Two edge browser crashes, resulted in graphics errors when playing videos in the browser until reboot
- Music dropdown song title stuttering
- Groove had no menu icon after updating, the icon appeared after hard reset

These are not specific to Ativ S, they are common on other devices too.

use the insider app after switching to NOKIA.
I had to change two registry values as specified on the 2nd page of this ther ta thread.

These are as follows:

The key: HKLM\SYSTEM\Platform\DeviceRargetingInfo

First value:

Value: PhoneManufacturer

Old value data: SAMSUNG

New value data: NOKIA

Second value:

Value: PhoneModelName

Old value data: GT-I8750

New value data: RM-1104_1078

Only then was I able to obtain the update after I installed Insider Preview.

Still the Upgrade Advisor app was showing "Your phone is not supported for the update."

I didn't use any registry hacks.

Good news. It means that anyone using the obsolete Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 is eligible for the update to the final RTM build of Windows 10 Mobile.

With Update 2 the phone didn't pass the check with Upgrade Advisor.

I had to change registry settings and mimic a Nokia phone. Then I had to download Windows Insider app to update Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2.

With Windows Insider app phone upgraded to build 107.

Has anyone experienced issues making screenshots after upgrading to Windows 10 Mobile?

I wasn't able to take screenshots due to Couldn't take screenshot errors.

I have SD card configured as the default location for storing photos and screenshots.

The fix was:

? Rename the SD Card\Pictures\Screenshots folder to anything else.

? Take a screenshot.
Windows will automatically create a new Screenshots folder at the same location.

Newly taken screenshots will be saved to this new folder.

Interestingly, if you move old screenshots from the old renamed folder to this new Screenshots folder, Windows will again be unable to take screenshots.

Any clues on why is that Windows could be unable to take screenshots to the folder with the screenshots taken on Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2.

just to please our moderator

No...Samsung Ativ S wont receive W10. No second wave, no 3rd wave, nothing. Update 1 or 2 doesnt matter because your phone isnt supported on WP10 platform and wont be in the future
