windows 10 how dual boot or keep a copy to roll back?

I would like to test windows 10 on my lenovo thinkpad 8 but i'm not sure what would be the best way to safly backup my tablet and is is possible to dual boot?

When windows 10 will be released i guess i can just remove second and update window 8.1
