Windows Central Question
Windows 10 installed and photos and documents did not migrate over.
They are not in the old.windows or network file and did not magically appear after rebooting. I am not a computer genius. When Windows 10 states that my files are exactly where I left them, I expect them to be on my desktop just as they were with the old version. I have looked for them in all of the places the forums suggested. To say that I am aggravated is an understatement. Don't be that ****** that tells me I should have backed them up. I did back up my files. It's just a bit time consuming to insert 30 Memory cards. As for the documents, I am f#@%&d. Also, when a company that knows more about computers than I do (Microsoft) tells me that they are going to be where I left them, I am inclined to believe them. If I told one of my customers one thing and screwed something up, I would be fricking fired.
