Turn the clock 3 to 4 years back everyone was looking Windows came up with up Nokia and releasing Windows 8 and it is Lumia and others vendors also came using Window 8. Yeah it was Windows wow... but you cannot slide the page you have to scroll down it and it had beautiful way of displaying apps as Tiles, the battery usage was too good than an android phone, the performance was good even on continuous usage. Then updates 8.1 came and everyone expected windows 9 but came the 9+1 Windows 10 it proved mobile OS can work in less hardware features, Yes it works well. But what is the status of windows 10 no much updates, less hardware support, slowly all Apps are moving out of Windows store except the propriety Apps of Microsoft and Xbox games.

Now still much buzzed Andromeda OS playing the invincible magic trick as they are expected to come as product with Windows core OS foldable in pockets you can say many thing but what it would be if it has everything without Apps. Microsoft already as proved it can do good in mobile platform but App gap is a big question mark...

Do Microsoft really looks for the customer need ? if not it is just a beautiful vehicle without fuel.

Simple solution.... if it can emulate win32 and win64 let it emulate android and access android app store.

Hundreds of thousands of apps and then real desktop programs for when you really want to get work done.

BOOM problem solved.

MS continues to emphasize the engineering. All its acquisitions have been to leap frog the engineering. Win 10 phones still do photography beautifully. The OS is elegant & should live on in their next phones in the Lumia line. They'd be fools to give this up to merchandizing, business graduate school overburdened Google/Apple competitors. MS still widely used in both India & China, both gigantic & increasingly vibrant economies. MS ain't dumb & I would bet against their mobility acumen. Mobility is now & the future ...its all about the Cloud

I totally Agree with you. MS OS is good.. they have came through a very long way from many version...Windows 98, xp, vista, 7, 8, 10. Now in mobile, Tab and system. After spending a very long years in OS they should see customer friendly facts. When you have mobile without Apps. It will become showcase piece than a usage piece and in course of time it will go like Blackberry.
