Windows 10 Mobile build 10549! How do you like it?

on lumia 1520 even after hard reset below are the issues

2.bit slow at time ... absorbed few app and games taking time to open
3.no yet daily driver --- need to be more stable

I haven't had any crashes but I have had a max of 20 minutes use on it.

Battery drain seems a little quicker than 10536 which makes me sad, i'm taking the risk as the daily and will continue to do so. I love the features and layout so much over 8.1 that i'll put up with having to keep a charger handy at work.

On a Lumia 925. Have only seen a "Loading" or "Resuming" screen once, which is amazing compared to the previous build. Battery drain is pretty quick, but it was pretty bad before, too. Everything seems quicker to load. Start screen comes up super fast now (again, comparatively). I've got it on my only phone and am happy with everything but heat and battery.

sadly some apps that were working at the previous build are not longer at the store, stuff like Teamviewer, also outlook is having serious issues with predictive text, almost impossible to use, if you do not mind about those two things this build is better, but for my since I badly need those 2 features it is a deal breaker, I will try again with the next one, going back to 8.1

I wll share my update process details

yesterday(Oct 14 2015-one month after last build 10536)

23:35 - saw the update,decided to roll back,backed up data to my laptop
23:47 - hard reseted my phone (Lumia 730 buid 10536)
00:21 - started roll back - phone not detected
00:33 - phone detected .started roll back
01:30 - oops- error...again started roll back (so slow..don't know why.maybe everyone will be trying to rollback)

====too tired so that i slept====

04:55 - when i woke up,roll back successfully completed message was there
back to 8.1..wow..what is this..its like am in priemval age..

05:23 - apps got updated.Installed windows insider
05:35 - win 10 build 10549 update process started
05:42 - preparing to install
06:09 - Ist restart..spinning wheels
06:57 - 2nd restart..migration process....black screen..its ok..even in his tweets gabe has told that maybe
black screen will remain till 5 minutes..ok
07:02 - blackscreen
07:03 - blackscreen
07:04 - blackscreen.i pressed the power button.no response.
07:05 - blackscreen.its 8 minutes now.what the hell is happening..i started to search the forums..tweeted gabe..nothing i could find..
my heartbeat started to increase.
07:21 - still blackscreen.its 24 minutes now.I performed a soft reset.yea.it worked.thank god..migration process started.
07:43 - phone is on.I did a soft reset again.am not planning a hard reset again
07:46 - phone is on.everything ok
07:53 - App updates started.Store,Whatsapp and VLC shown some errors initially but got installed after a few attempts
08:50 - insider fast configuration update.Got the restart message.App updation going on
09:36 - Restarted.Spinning wheels started
09:38 - 2nd restart.Migration process started
09:48 - 3rd Restart.Phone is On

and thats it.Am on win 10 build 10549..4

Few things that I noticed in fast

* very stable build
* other than the black screen,the update process was also fast and simple
* store is very fast.no problems so far
* camera app is faster too
* can't see film & tv app
* lumia camera is still not accessbile for me

I will be posting more a little later.let me play with this build.

A HUGE performance improvement on my 920. Still seeing very brief loading/resuming screen sometimes but it's not as bad as before. Haven't done the hard reset which I usually do but so far so good! I would say snappiness wise this build feels on par or at times faster than the 8.1.

Major response difference, still battery drain but not unbearable, Lumia 1020 nokia/ Lumia camera is back, love that , elected not to automatic update but rather keep Nokia and not Lumia camera on 1020 major zoom difference.

Hello, does anyone know if the Outlook issue (no outgoing mails) with POP/IMAP mail server accounts has been fixed with this update? That's been the biggest issue I've been facing since updating to 10512 & 10536. Gmail works fine, though. If this mail issue has been fixed, I wouldn't mind taking the trouble of going through downgrading and then updating.

1020 owner here, and I'm ecstatic to report that the Lumia Camera app remains when doing the 8.1 -> 10 upgrade! Feels like a long lost friend has come home. I haven't tried the other Lumia apps (Cinemagraph, Creative Studio, Panorama), but they are also present.

Not only that, but glance screen settings (under "Settings -> Extras") has also made its triumphant return, looking the same as it did under 8.1.

I've only had an hour or so to play around with it, but some transitions that formerly triggered long "Loading" or "Resuming" screens seem to be absent. Boot time seems to also be dramatically improved.

Overall, for the 1020, this build is a must-have if you're still struggling with 10536.

I think that the battery drain is still there but can't comment properly on it now.Lets wait. I heard that with full 100% charge,it was showing 16 hours battery life in Lumia 950XL because of insider preview.But in my 730 Its showing one and half days.

This build is DEFINITELY faster on my AT&T Lumia 635. Like, a lot. That's a good sign.

The Edge browser still can't load many pages properly without constantly reloading, but it hasn't crashed for me yet. For example, articles on this site can't be loaded with the comments, same with sites like vox.com. Guess it's just not good on 512MB devices when sites use these new scaling methods for articles and pictures instead of pure mobile sites.

Other than that, I haven't tried it much yet. For some reason, I have TWO OneDrive apps listed, one of which has a blank tile with no text or title of any kind on it.That one can't be uninstalled. The other one looks like the previous OneDrive tile and it CAN be uninstalled. When I pin either to the Start screen, only one Live Tile shows up for them. Must be some bug. Guess they updated it or something?

There's cleaner code running underneath this build, in my opinion. You can feeeeeeel it.

No doubt. Still not 8.1 levels of snappiness on my 635, but pretty close. Very encouraging, as the speed of it was my main concern. If they have fixed the frequent Edge crashes, they might be ok...

Anyone else ending up with TWO settings shortcuts/live tiles?

I have two that work independently. One leads to the 8.1 style settings menu, the other to the new W10 one. Must be a glitch in the update process.
