Windows 10 Mobile Insider Build 10586 Thread

I've had those start screen lockups since build 10581, though sometimes not much. I really wish they would fix that on the next one.

I most of the time having the issue when going back to start screen from these apps (all w10 uni apps):
-messaging
-new w10 facebook app
-perfect tube
-new w10 mytube
-camera
-photos
-Store


-I'm using lumia 1320

Yeah I too experiencing Phone freezing after exiting any of system apps or so. The touch screen unresponsive, screen becomes so dim after 30 seconds. The only way to recover is removing the battery and then restart. I don't know what causing this issue, but I posted it in Windows Feedback.

Another way is a soft reset wothout annoying removing battery (I got a 520)

You can but the update is 700MB in size

For me when i say something to Cortana she keeps on listening and if i type something in nd press enter it keeps on thinking since last build.

It's 700MB in size, using 2G you'll take days at least. Go with 3G if you can afford that much data

Something must be updating. Switch off wifi/cellular

If you play a song from the "G" list (or any other), it will only play songs beginning with G and H...it will not play anything else with shuffle on. If you don't use shuffle, Groove music will play all the songs in a row.

Another bug: Screen keeps brightening and dimming.

I see what you mean with the shuffling now. It creates a small playlist with names around the same alphabet as the song you selected. The only way to get true shuffling is by selecting the shuffle all option.

Interestingly, I got a Lumia 1520 yesterday and moved it to Win10 last night and even though I chose Slow Ring, it gave me .29

I use Lumia 520 non cortana. In 10586.11 when I press search button it will open bing search with ugly UI compared to wp8.1. But after 10586.29 when I press search button, it will open edge browser and open google. (I change the default browser to google). Anyone get the same thing?

I see what you mean with the shuffling now. It creates a small playlist with names around the same alphabet as the song you selected. The only way to get true shuffling is by selecting the shuffle all option.

It's been broken since the introduction of Groove Music, I've left feedback but it still hasn't been addressed yet....

Edit: Shuffle all doesn't fix it, it will automatically start playing music if you select shuffle all, but you still can't choose a song without the only alphabet you choose and the next alphabet song bug.

They're not on the same build. The Lumia 950 can't receive insider updates and is on 10586.0, while your Icon is on 10586.29. Sometime this week, the 950 is suppose to be able to receive the ability to join the insider preview builds.
