Windows 10 Mobile on 1520 & photos Not Launching . Help

OK I was set to leave Windows and buy a Note 5 when released . But when I got Windows 10on my PC I was very impressed .

So couple of days ago I decided to try the Mobile preview on my 1520 and I am really impressed. Everything looks Fantastic and way better than 8.1

So far everything working fine except the photos can not be launched . I have unpinned it but still no go

Since the latest 'Photo' app update a few days ago some people have issue with the app crashing. Unfortunately, I haven't found a workaround. Either need to wait for another app update or do a hard reset. Granted your exact issue isn't what's described in this thread, but take a look:

I did a hard reset and still the same exact issue.

This exact problem was solved for me by installing the 10512 release on my L1020.

I'm sorry, could you explain what 10512 release means and how I get it since my lumia 1520 is up to date? thanks.

I kinda got what you were referring to, the issue is my version 10166 is the latest update.

Same issue with my L1020 pics are saved but whenever I open any of them It crashes returning me to home screen, also the cell has got slow after few days so I guess I need to get Fast Ring Update 10512 with Hard Reset

Problem Solved .

I installed Camera 360+ and took couple of pictures by it and pictures all launched as usual . Then I took some pictures with the native camera app ( lumina app ) and they launched too
