Windows 10 mobile on tablets?

I have a question. Why did Microsoft decide to create a tablet mode instead of using Windows 10 mobile for its tablets too? Ur would the same as Android, iOS and all the other operating systems. I would have bought a tablet running Windows 10 mobile way more than with a totally different "mode". Anyone feels the same or am I the only one?

That was what RT was supposed to be and it crashed and burned. The very stupid ads of people dancing probably didn't help much either.

Always wondered why Microsoft chose not to run with mobile on a tablet.
Could be they scared themselves with the RT mistake.
Too bad the RT models couldn't have been salvaged with the mobile OS .
If that would have happened I would have kept my original surface tab.

Those ads were really good. Maybe sales would have been even worse without them.

Windows Mobile will be used in small tablets, in the future It might be also used in big tablets.

I feel much of the appeal was the power and flexibility of Windows that a mobile OS just won't cut. Even in RT the tools Windows had baked in liked Explorer and whatnot as surely a plus for some.
