Is there any way to get VPN access setup to an openvpn server, or do I need to look into setting up an additional IPsec based VPN endpoint?

Ok,figured as much. Wasn't sure if there was some way to hack the connection in, or if it was a lost cause. I'll look at adding IPsec endpoint to my pfsense firewall and hopefully can get that working with the built in provider (would be great if anyone can confirm though).

I use Sophos which is similar to pfsense and the L2TP over IPsec works quite well and has the same level of encryption as OpenVPN (AES 256bit).

My issue is at work OpenVPN is the only VPN which works, L2TP seems to be blocked by our network, as is IKEv2 :eck:

I can't change anything server side as it's just to allow me to bypass the company internet restrictions :amaze:

This is probably wayyy too late, but it might help other people looking.

I use ExpressVPN and it works on my Surface Pro 3 running Windows 10 and with that subscription you get free for mobile or tablet. It works when manually set up on my Lumia 1020 running WP8 Denim or W10Mobile.
