Windows 10 PC screen flickering when device activity changes

not entirely sure what happened but when I plug in my mouse and plug it back in my screen refreshes (shown as flickering). It's annoying! idk if its my refresh rate or what (i dont play around with those configurations)

it could be a driver issue with the mouse - when connected, go to device manager and check if there are any updates for drivers for that mouse.
you can also check if it happens with another mouse from a different company
