Windows 10: Why File Indexing (Search Index) restarts again after windows update?

Windows 10: Why after every Windows Update the INDEXING restarts again from zero? Is it possible (and how) to stop such a rebuilding of the file Search Index? My computer is not a toy, but a work equipment. Time is a gift. Why Windows after its updates does not use the already existing Search Index file?
