Windows 8.1 app won't downloadon W10

Hello,

A local bank app (groan) only has an WP app for 8.1. Since I upgraded to WP10 it says the app is not available for my device.

From site:

I think it will still work, any way to get it on my phone?

the app should be there after getting w10, you could install it on w10 but its not going to be easy, you need to download it somehow, to some device, get the xap file, find some way to decrypt it, and then sideload it to your w10 phone using xap deployer

first step is doable you can google it, dont know about second step at all, could be a moonshot, and third step just requires installing VS and using the xap deployer utility

there are decrypted apps available like fb messenger 8.1 but I have no idea about that process

Yeah, still stuck on this. Since I did a clean installed after some issues, I can't get the W8.1 apps back anymore.

I remember on the Nokia's you could download a .sis file and install. If you could find the file....

The company sent me an SMS for their mobile app - but going there broke my app store. I could not get back to it without a reboot..
