Windows 8.1 Preview on Asus Vivotab Smart

I'm looking at the Lenovo Miix. I think I'm going to try to wait another four to six weeks, to see if anything pops up with Windows 8.1 and perhaps an enhanced cpu. It's hard to imagine that can be the case and the price still hover around $450 - $500. I'm curious to see what comes about.

Why no one made 10'' with FullHD resolution based on Atom CPU!??? I don't like Surface Pro, battery life is too short for tablet!
All tablet on Atom CPU has 1333x768 resolution! Is it CPU/GPU limitation? I found myself that I use iPad3 more for internet browsing than VivoTab. Just because I love cRetina display. And 16x9 resolution is good for gaming and video, but awful for internet!

I would not be surprised CPU/GPU limitations play a part. Everything I read suggests Atom is adequate as configured but it always seems like it is spoken of as borderline - everyone's great concern is how slow and how smooth graphics may or may not be. Although I ultimately want a good, solid Windows tablet that doesn't cost an arm and a leg I feel like they just aren't quite there yet. There will probably be something more to my liking within another six months for sure. I've even considered a Nook HD+ to play with in the interim. It's got nice specs and the 32 GB model is only $180 (this amuses me). I don't currently own an Android device but it may do all I want until a better selection of Windows devices are available.
