Why the heck didn't Windows Central get a review unit of the S3? Even the extremly talentless dude over att surfacegeeks.net got one.

Where are the god damned reviews of the S3 ?!

Maybe Daniel, unknowingly, gave a little attitude to a MS employee. XD

Maybe they are waiting to give a thorough review... Not a first impression. I hate when I go to watch a review and its basically them reading the spec list. I could do that on my own and, more than likely, already have. Take some time and review the darn thing.

It's simple: Microsoft's PR did not give us one and won't give us one until later.

Why? They are being very selective on who they are giving them to. Even though we are the largest Windows site around (4M uniques a month, 14M pageviews) and are one of the top-ranked sites, they still would not give us one.

This is not Microsoft's fault per se, as it is their PR firm that handles it. Why did we get invites to the Surface Pro 3 event and not this one? I have no idea how they decide.

Needless to say, we are very displeased with the situation and are working on different angles within Microsoft to fix this.

So it is not that we do not want to cover the Surface 3, but PR does not consider us important enough. If someone wanted to, ahem, Twitter campaign to make pressure Microsoft people, I'd have no issue.

It's funny too because on Phone things, we get everything. That's due to different PR people. The whole biz can be a racket.
