Windows Central WP App AD's

Hi, I have had the Windows Central app for quite some time for my Windows Phone, but I would like to know that the advertisements at the bottom of the screen are safe or not. I don't mind it if they are there but just wanted to know as I accidentally clicked on it and took me to internet explorer but showed "Webpage is not available". Am I safe or am I infected with a virus from the advertisement? This was on my Lumia 830.

Oh thank you so much!! So is it just the app that has this ads. But after all, are all these ads Safe?
