Windows Doesn't Support VLC Media Player

Windows Central Question

Can anyone please help me? I downloaded free VLC Media Player from here- [link removed] but when i trying to install this software it didn't install show an error. Can you tell me please why it happened? Can windows doesn't support VLC Media Player?

Just updated w10 from 10.0.17134 to 10.0.18362 - now VLC 3.0.6 immediatly crashes.
the window 10 player also crashes.

BUT I have a copy of VLC Portable 2.2.4 weatherwax it work fine playing.
 
I'd suggest the K-Lite Codec Pack, which comes with the Media Player Classic. It's much more reliable compared to VLC and the built-in Windows Media Player.

I used to use that many years ago. For me though, now I use either Kodi or VLC, but you are right that Media Player Classic is still great to use.
 
Try downloading it again from the official VLC page I linked to in an earlier reply. I've been using VLC for years on Windows 10 with no issues.
