Windows Explorer

[Windows Central Question]

Windows explorer close after 10 or so seconds after I open it. I dont have time enough to search my files

Does the folder alone close, or does the entire start menu disappear? When you launch Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete), is Windows Explorer listed under the Processes Tab after it disappears?
