Windows Media Creation tool..

Hi all.
Yesterday I d/l 64 bit iso for my desktop, and it worked flawlessly. Today, I go to grab the 32bit for a netbook and an elderly laptop, and the tool refuses to play ball. I run it as administrator, and it fails, without fail (sic) and produces a message saying this PC isn't setup, please restart ams try again. I have also tried on wife's laptop running 8.1 and still get the same message!

Am I an *****, or is there a known issue / workaround or somewhere where I can get just the iso and Rufus it?

Are you using the 32-bit tool directly on the destination machine? I've seen one report yesterday of it having problems.

Try using the 64-bit tool on the machine where it worked before, to download the 32-bit iso.

You, my friend, were spot on. Followed your instructions and voila!!

I guess the 32 bit one is a bit iffy on 64 bit machine..
