Frankly that looks terrible to me. There's so much exaggerated transparency it's hard to know what the active "window" is, I can't tell what's on the front most of the time.

I like some aspects, but hate a lot too, I love your layout for the most part, but I have a big dislike of all the transparency. it feels much more material then metro..

Personally just remove the wireframe look and bring back that original wp icons and keep the transparency then it would be perfect to me. There is nothing wrong with the outlines of the tiles being wireframed but the icons themselves need to stay like how they were in 8.1. Really close though
