Notification centre and push notifications fix for the next update im hoping!

One simple fix until the WiFi update. Turn off cellular data when you're linked to WiFi. I've been doing that while using Netflix, iheartradio, etc. Only downside is if someone texts you a pic you have to turn cellular data back on to receive it.

If you're using Netflix, your screen isn't locked, therefore WiFi will not be turned off. I know that for a fact.

AFAIK if you're using an app that is streaming audio over WiFi and the screen locks while it's running, it doesn't suddenly drop WiFi and switch to cellular data. Maybe someone else can confirm this.

I still don't understand how this is a bug. I have a 3GB data plan and I've never gone over and I watch a couple TV episodes a week using my cellular data and I have four email accounts.

Either you guys use an extraordinary amount of data or you have meager data plans.

That said, I'm happy to have any new feature will save my data as long as it doesn't impact battery life.
