Windows Phone 8.1 is little bit slow.

I haven't noticed anything on my 925. If the store is your issue, it was down yesterday in some areas.

It's still not completely working here in the UK, it's up and apps can be downloaded but I've noticed some lingering issues.

No, the store works fine for me but sometimes when I open the it, it has to load before the interface appears! :(
You just contradicted yourself. Obviously it isn't working fine. I'd say give it a few days, or do a soft reset, or turn your phone off at least, and then complain. It hasn't been ling enough. If it still persists, I'd do a hard reset. A lot of the issues could be installation errors. Also what hardware do you have?

L520 is way faster now, but only after two reboots.

Maybe it's related to some background apps not working with 8.1 in your case?

Transitions are so fast that they get desyncronized and that may be perceived as lag maybe?.

Pay attention to the "Battery Saver" app and the permissions to run background. A lot of apps was turned on here and it drains a lot of battery!

Sorry, I meant the store is working but it takes some time until it is loaded. It also has nothing to do with the WiFi - I tried it with different connections.

What I also notice right now is that the keyboard is not as fast as before (in the normal mode, not using Word Flow).

Could be possible. I'm going to make a soft reset now and see what happens.

Wow, that soft reset helped! It's fast now and typing works great! The store opens as fast as it did in 8.0! :)

It's a little jerky some times, but I fully expect all this to be fixed with the first bug fixing update.

Except for music app, i didnt experience any delay if fact it has improved my phones performance. Before i update the phone i did soft & harf reset the phone i think that help

Maybe is just on Low-End Hardware? I installed it on my 520 and is quite noticeable, but everyone from 820 or higher says that is very good. IE also closes automatically sometimes, very annoying

8.1 needs more optimization for the low end phones. Shame that all the 8.1 reviews are based on high end phones.

You are all using beta software that hasn't been optimized for you device..

Sounds like 720 and below people are having issues. This reminds me of the iOS7 update which made the 4 completely unusable and the 4s pretty slow as well. But there was an update (7.1) which optimized iOS7 for the iphone 4. I imagine something like that will come in the first GDR update or possibly sooner.

This so much.
I wwish people would realize that unless you are using the official version from Nokia and carriers, that we don't know for sure if this is the expected performance. Nokia has yet to release anything so there is a good chance that this may not be the final version of the software.
