windows phone 8.1 issues

Over all the OS Updates brings lot of new features but carry few minor issues.
1. Phone became less stable.
2. Battery drains rapidly (less than 8 hours for normal usage)
3. Felt lag in animation and effects while switching apps.
4. Network became bit unstable (frequently dropping mobile signal)
5. Music player horrible.
6. Phone volume control and vibration messed up.

Battery drain maybe because of some settings that i'll mention or that you are checking out your phone due to the update.

1. Set email to sync at longer intervals. Something like an hour.
2. Change sound and vibration and notification settings in Notifications+Action
3. Turn off Wifi sense.
4. Set automatic brightness.
5. Turn off sync my settings.
6. Turn off location.
7. Turn off feedback.
8. Turn off the location feature in find my phone.

Also charge your phone fully and let it get completely discharged until it switches off. Repeat cycle 2 or 3 times.
