Updated on my 810 earlier. I was sort of expecting to see more time projected for the battery life, but it only read 12 hours and 45 minutes. Then again, I also haven't been using the 810 today in favor of my 925. Maybe I'll pop my SIM in the 810 later tonight or sometime tomorrow. :straight:

Back on 8.1 today with "updated" battery fix ~ we'll see. Gonna give it a few days/week ... and see how it goes!

Hope things are better (for me) than initial DP and battery drainage!

Gotta confess .... NICE having Cortana, Notifications and especially Word Flow back again!!

😎

The only change I can see is that touch area used to slide down the action center has been expanded. Before you had swipe in from the top edge but now you can drag it down from the system tray area.

Weird! my battery was 85% or something like this while the phone was downloading the update, then the system told me that "update will take 10-15 minutes", click on update and now I have the charging logo on screen...

Same, though I admit my phone was on 13% or so when I started. Guess I'll have to leave it to update overnight.

Would have been nice if it warned me that there was a minimum charge to update though. Usually simply being on the charger is enough...

I feel so confused. Can the battery improvement be as strong as this? Since I updated my 1020, the battery has remained at 25% for longer than 3 hours now, connected to Wi-Fi.

Haven't checked all posts on this thread, but I have actually noticed that Store works more fluently (didn't want to say faster as most of you would have taken it as a joke lol)

I assume it's in a phase of learning as your battery will be of a certain age. Once it's gone through a full cycle the battery percentage will correct itself.

Having issues since the update to the 8.1 update. I always used to experience a flash of the screen, like a jolt with text or a flash on the background. Sine today's update it flashes much more often. I have a trivia app that now has it very frequently. Happens virtually every time I scroll. Anyone else?

I used to have the same problem on my 920, turns out that it was related to the auto screen brightness, I set it on medium or high and the problem is gone, haven't got it since 8.1.

Great, now my icon is running hot and battery be a drainin'. Sux. May be hard resetting and for what? This update so far has brought nothing to the table for me except hassle so far. Wishing Ida left it alone.

So early to judge it properly, give it some days...
