Windows Phone 8 RAM

Hello,
I'm considering to buy a new phone, because my current phone(Nokia C5-03) is slow and outdated. I have selected two phones - Nokia Lumia 820 or Nokia Lumia 625. I don't know which to choose, so I'm asking you to help.
I like Nokia lumia 625 more than 820, but I don't like that 625 have only 512MB ram... Sometimes I would like to play some games or apps, but I don't know which apps or games needs 1GB ram... Is there a list where can I see WP8 games which needs 1GB ram? Does a lot of games require 1GB RAM?

Hi,

A lot of apps/games don't require 1 GB RAM (anymore). You will be good for 99.9% of the apps if you choose the 625

If you want play the most wanted 3d games, Choose 820. 512MB is just to play puzzle games, the converted 3d games have low quality graphics.

Unless you want to upgrade in a year year get a device w/ 1GB RAM. All the new devices are coming w/ at least 1GB RAM (including the low end 525) so you can figure where MS is heading to (stripped or no 8.1 features for 512MB devices).

Take a 1GB device as it will come with a faster processor as well(Nokia SOC is 1.5Ghz dual-core and 1GB ram, whereas its 512MB with 1Ghz dual core) 1GB ram will have lesser waiting/loading screen.

l720 is good!! if it isn't in budget then wait for 525 its an upgrade version of 520 with 1 gb ram!!

Hope this device comes with a Clearblack display(original 520 display is non CB and a bit dull....) as well, then it may be a good buy!

I saw on Youtube someone compared the performance of 2 WP8 phone running Nokia Maps. One has slower processor and 512 RAM. The other with faster processor and 1G RAM. There seems to be big difference in performance and my reason to get the one with 1G RAM.

Same prob in camera app nokia camera getting hang in 512mb ram!! In 1G ram works fine!!

Ram isn't the only way to consider a phone is good for you. For example crap 820 battery life can be good or worst for you?
I've a 720 (512 M but the same 920+/1020/maybe 520 and 625 battery) and sometime i rexharge my phone after 2 days.
If 525 should have 1G i thhink that price cannot be low such as 520 or, maybe, this Lumia will have a crap camera and other limitations (small or crap quality display?)

Its 525, 520's heir they will put some weak features in that as well. Pricing will be low , same as 520
