Windows Phone Advice: Please Help

I switched to Windows Phone from an iPhone. I loved my iPhone and thought that if I was going to switch OS then I might as well go big with the beast of a phone, the 1520.

I have had the phone since it was released. Here is my problem:

I have fallen in love with the windows OS, but not in love with the huge screen. I love everything but the size. I want to downgrade but I don't know of any smaller windows phones that are even on the same level specks wise as the 1520. I've heard the 925 was a great phone but would it be a major downgrade for me just to get a smaller phone?

The Icon on Verizon has the exact same specs. Look at some videos about it in YouTube.

you can go fr the Lumia 1020, just dual core processor compared to quad core But excellent camera

925 only has one drawback that it has 16GB internal memory with no expansion slot. If that would be ok for you, then 925 is also a good option.
925 has a dual core processor with 1GB ram compared to quad core and 2GB Lumia 1520

I'm under the impression that new phones will be announced at Build next month for the WP8.1 launch. I'd wait it out.

that's also not a bad idea. Even i would advice the same.

Yeah, I'd wait it out. AT&T is really good at getting new devices anyways, unlike Verizon.

One other option is to get the ICON and use it on AT&T. It has the bands to do so. There are a couple of large drawbacks to doing this:

1 You would not have LTE speeds

2 I understand, but not positive, that the MMS doesn't work on AT&T.

If you need the sd card slot stick to 1520 as icon or any other lumina don't have a slot for micro sd cards.

Icon,920,925 only don't have microsd slot. Else all other lumias support microsd.

Those midrange and lower models that do support SD storage are lower specs phones, which the OP isn't interested in.

Well you could wait.. I maybe wrong but isn't there a Lumia 929 on the way. Which is basically the universal version ICON
