If there was anything that almost swayed me from my 1520 to the Note 3, it was support for eBooks. Android and iOS obviously have pretty impressive eBook stores of their own, on top of an Amazon Kindle app that actually works. Anyone out there know of, or hear of, any sort of rumor of an actual eBook store coming to Windows Phone? This 1520 is just begging for some literature.

Well, I don't know about actual stores but a lot of people(including myself) are telling Readmill to build an app for the platform. Hopefully they'll consider it given the lots of tweets sent to them.

Back when I heard about Barnes and Noble(Nook) and Microsoft doing some sort of deal. I was kind of hoping Microsoft would somehow buy them out or buy their eBooks stuff. That's one thing Windows phone definitely seems to be missing is a good eBook Store. Windows 8 nook app for me anyways seems to be a lot better than the kindle app. Not sure why there isn't a Windows phone 8 app for Nook.
