The real answer to this question (for now) is not what you want to hear. Basically this platform and its entire ecosystem is heading towards the cloud. If you want to share anything put it in onedrive, sync all your devices to it and share to your hearts desire. Onedrive just upped its free storage to 15 gb and you can get 1tb for pretty cheap. The other problem is attachments. Changing your habits to grab the document first and then sharing it to your e-mail, facebook...etc seems backasswards but it does the job. Network sharing isnt a big issue because this isn't how Microsoft wants you to share documents. Its like apple forcing iTunes on everyone instead of creating an easy program that allows you to copy and share music to other devices. Basically you either adopt their method or you go back to the platform whose methodology makes more sense to you.
