Windows phone updates

Waiting for updates from Microsoft its just painful, this just makes me want to switch. What you guys think?

What kind of updates are you specifically referring to? Do you mean app updates, GDR2, GDR3, or something else?

Relax, buddy!
It is just one phone. Life should and can go ahead without it. Update is coming anyway in the near future.

The 7.8 people never got, now gdr2 and countless other issues the windows phone has that Microsoft still haven't fixed with updates. Its just crazy.

This happens on all platforms. This morning Google announced that Android 4.3 would be rolled out to Nexus devices starting today, and androidcentral is lit up with users impatiently waiting for the update. We'll never be satisfied!

However, I understand where you're coming from. Updates to iOS & Android, at least the "minor" updates to the current OS version, are mostly bug fixes and cool additions. WP updates are needed for basic important features that are currently missing. That does put more of an urgency on it.
