Hello everyone
I have a question.

Why do people HATE Windows Phone?

I certainly don't hate it at all since it being my first smartphone (OS) and phone I ever used (Samsung Focus).

Who hates it?

I think that there are people sore at Microsoft over their actions with Internet Explorer a decade or so ago.

Here are the most common complaints I've heard:

- Missing apps (esp. first party ones)
- lack of google services
- homescreen looks ugly/disorganized
- accent colours are too bright/childish/Fisher-Price
- missing functionality
- not enough customization
- M$ sucks

For the record, I'm a windows phone user and love it. However, I think some criticisms of the platform have merit, especially when it comes to missing functionality. It took ages to implement separate volume controls for ringer/music for instance.

Honestly I agree especially like the notifications center.

Goggle apps will never happen. A Starbucks and a few more banking apps would go a long way.

It's fashionable to believe anything Microsoft is clunky and useless. (well, approximately)

Well in a nutshell, but its more that Microsoft has some big PR issue IMHO.
