"windows problem reporting" uses a lot of cpu for long time

as title. it didn't stop until I killed it manually. it ran a whole day and made my surface book hot.





how can I check what it had done?

It might have been struggling to connect or send the same report but hanging on that

If it happens again, do a sfc scan

it had wifi connection. I don't know what it was doing. it ran a whole day. finally I stopped it manually as I thought it was abnormal.

a restart would also fix it unless it's a recurring issue
