OK, so I've had this issue on the phone for a while.



I have since moved on from the issue as there is not seem to be an easy fix, however I have read that it has been done. (PM a member who had done it but got no response)

I've seen the issue being fixed via the microsoft device recovery tool, however since its microsoft and samsung i'm not sure this phone will ever get support

I've tried the hard reset, the hold until vibrate and ! and volume up down power thing, nothing seems to work.

The phone just restarts and this pops up.

What Can I try to get this phone back up and running?

In a few minutes remove the battery.
Then insert and again to reset.

However this is a little bit more involved than a reset.

Did u even try it? Spavlin really knows a lot about the ativ. Maybe it works.

Your best bet is looking for help in the Xda developer forums.

I was able to hard reset the phone, Got the spinning gears and everything. However upon reboot the same message and reboot loop occurred.

xda development forums look a little intimidating. Not sure where to start.
