What is the easiest way to enable Windows XP CD-ROM games to play in Windows 10? Compatibility Mode doesn't seem to help much. The emulators that I have looked up on the web seem too complicated.

What I would do is install Windows XP in a virtual machine. (VMware Player and VirtualBox are examples of software that facilitates this.)

Yeah, if running the game in compatibility mode (Windows XP SP2 or SP3) or running it with administrative privileges doesn’t do it for you, then definitely try the game in a virtual machine.

What Windows XP games are your trying to play on Windows 10? As far as I know, Microsoft only depreciated 16-bit games. All 32-bit and above games still work with Windows 10.

I'm trying to play Midway Arcade Treasures, Atari Anniversary Edition, and other old games that I have on CDROM.
