Wipiing a Surface with a Forgotten Password?

My Dad's workplace gave him an old Surface 2 because nobody knows the password. There's no important data on it, but it's locked and we can't open it. How can I wipe it and start it fresh with a new microsoft account?

It's all set up and surprisingly fast. I got the original Surface RT and a year later it was pretty much unusable slow. The Surface 2 will make a fantastic Netflix/Facebook/Office machine.
