Wireless charging

Does lumia 822 support wireless charging by default ?

Or do we need to buy extra backpanel for it.

The plate will add a bit of weight to it, and it will fit in cases. The camera portion will be beveled in. Looks great, for sure.

I bought my wireless charger and backplate at the local Verizon store. If you use a case double check that it will fit. Most do but a few may not. I love the wireless charger.

I purchased the wireless back and a DT-910 wireless charging stand. Works great. I then purchased the OtterBox Defender when it became available for the 822. Wireless charging still works great with the Defender. My 822 (with 64 GB microSD card) is my MP3 player. I listen to music all day while at work. 822 in the stand. Linked to my Jambox via Bluetooth. Totally wireless and I keep the battery fully charged.

I have a standard silicone cover for my 822 and I know that it fits the cover and can charge. The first time charging, it took the phone to recognize it a bit. I figured to reboot the phone and things work perfectly now.
